REGULATIONS OF THE ORANGE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
ORANGE, CONN. 06477
Adopted pursuant to ARTICLE II of its By-laws.
MONUMENTS AND MARKERS AND CARE OF GROUNDS
1 Artifical flowers and/or other decorations, or edging
materials, or stone are not permitted.
Brown mulch will be allowed.
2. Sketch is required of all monuments and should be approved by
the Association.
3. The monument or marker itself must be approved by the
Association before installation.
4. The location of a monument or marker in a section shall
conform to the location of other
monuments or markers in said section as the Association shall
determine.
5. One monument only is permitted on each plot; "plots" shall be
2 graves or larger.
6. A single grave can only use a marker up to 24" in width.
7. The size of monuments shall conform to other monuments in
said section as the Association
shall determine
8. A monument for a plot shall not exceed in length one-half of
the width of the plot
and is limited to 36" in height.
FOUNDATIONS FOR MONUMENTS AND MARKERS
9. All foundations for monuments and markers shall be installed
by the Association.
10. All foundations must be paid for before installation.
11. No plot may be used for any purpose until paid in full.
12. Contractors and their employees while in the cemetery shall
be subject to the control of
the Association and the Contractor shall be liable for any
damage due to his or her
employees' negligence.
13. Plot owners or their representatives at their expense shall
be responsible for the resetting,
repair and replacement of monuments and markers which shall be
accomplished either by
or under the supervision of the Association.
14. Trees or large shrubs in excess of 48" may not be grown on
individual lots. Overgrown shrubs may
by removed at the discretion of the Association.
15. Only non-collapsible vaults acceptable to the Association
shall be used for all interments.
16. Only one burial per grave site, unless cremations and then 2
are allowed.
RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE ASSOCIATION
17. The Association expressly reserves the right and power:
a. To refuse permission for any installation which it determines
to be objectionable
or inappropriate.
b. To remove after written notice any installations in process
or otherwise which it
determines not in keeping with the foregoing regulations.
c. To amend in whole or in part at any time these regulations
and any other rules
or regulations for the management of the cemetery.
18. In case a lot owner wishes to sell his lot, he must resell
it to the Association which will
refund the initial purchase price.

PLOT SIZE: three (3) feet by four (4)
for two (2) Cremains
COST PER PLOT: Five hundred (500) dollars
with perpetual care
MARKER: one (1) foot by two (2) foot
PINK Stony Creek Granite, Matte finish
BLOCK letters, Two (2) names on one (1) stone.
The garden is to remain simple, NO Plantings, Vases, Baskets,
Pots,
of Artificial material will be allowed. A small spray of natural
material
may be placed on top of marker.
The Garden was established in 1995 from a bequest to the
Cemetery Association in memory of her son by Marjorie C. Case.
